NIGHT OF MUSEUMS – 16 May 2026

The Naval Museum in Gdynia is traditionally taking part in the European Night of Museums.
It is one of the most popular events in our annual calendar, and many of you look forward to it, because the atmosphere of nighttime visiting is truly unique!
We warmly invite all guests – both our friends and first-time visitors.

16 May 2026 – we open at 7:00 PM and stay open until 12:30 AM.

17 May – the Naval Museum and the ships will be closed to visitors. We’ll be catching up on sleep ;)

As always, our three exhibitions will be available:
“The Armoury of the Polish Naval Museum”
• the permanent exhibition “We Have Orders to Keep You…”
“In the World of Old Sailing Ships”

As well as the Outdoor Exhibition of Naval Weapons and Armaments, and ORP Błyskawica and ORP Sokół.

Additionally:
• Historical Reenactment Groups – Coastal Defence, Sojusz, North Regiment, Devil’s Dogs, Seabees North and others
• exhibition of historical weapons by Baltic Coast Armory
• STAR 660 M2 military vehicle
• tours of the twin 130 mm gun mount and command/rangefinder station from ORP Wicher II
• educational tent of the Polish Navy Museum with games for children
• field kitchen serving delicious military pea soup
• first aid training – Sopot Scout Troop named after the Polish Navy
• DART demonstrations – Gdynia Steel Dart Association “Błyskawica”
• underground study storage (classic diving equipment)
• World of Warships gaming stations in the Gamer Zone

The Naval Museum, ORP Błyskawica and ORP Sokół will be open from 7:00 PM to 12:30 AM
(last entry at 11:45 PM!)

Admission: 5 PLN for each venue!
